Typography Poster Series
This typography project was based on Nick Lowe’s song What's So Funny 'Bout Peace, Love and Understanding. The goal of the project was to create a series of posters using the full lyrics, the title, or selected lines from the song, while delivering a meaningful and emotional visual experience.
The song explores themes of empathy, conflict, and human connection, offering multiple interpretations through its various acoustic and rock renditions. Inspired by these different emotional tones, I created a series of typographic posters that translate the song’s message into visual form. Through scale, rhythm, structure, and contrast, I focused on using typography itself to communicate emotion and encourage personal interpretation.
