RISO Poster
What does it feel like to be a fish out of water?
A visual exploration of discomfort, growth, and the design process.

This Risograph poster visualizes my design manifesto through a simple statement: design is not easy. Inspired by the bold energy of Asian snack packaging and the vintage aesthetic of American canned fish labels, the poster uses a fish-out-of-water metaphor to represent the uncertainty, discomfort, and challenges often experienced during the creative process.
Korean text was incorporated to reflect my cultural identity while creating curiosity for American viewers. Through this project, I explored the unique qualities of Risograph printing, including color layering, ink interaction, and distinctive textures.
